Vessel Owned by Maltese Interests Sinks

It is reported that the General Cargo ship, “Sundus”, sunk on 4th December close to Libya in stormy weather. Out of eight crew members who were on board, two Georgian sailors were reported missing while according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, another crew member of the same nationality was safe in a Tripoli Hotel.
It is understood that the 671 GRT, twenty six year old ship was owned by Yokas Maritime Ltd of Malta.
