A Maltese registered vessel sinks off the Malaysian coast

A Maltese registered vessel MV B Oceania has sunk after colliding with a Panama registered vessel MV Xin Tai Hai off the Malaysian coast while sailing to Singapore. The vessel sank at 12.30am at approximately 1.5 nautical miles south of Tanjung Piai. The MV Xin Tai Hai dropped anchor while another vessel MV Ikaragua rescued all the crew who were taken to Singapore.
